Glasses Farm is a very beautiful Grade 11 Listed 16th century thatched farmhouse in 20 acres, dating from 1540. Glasses is in a picturesque valley setting on the outskirts of the village of Roadwater within the beautiful Exmoor National Park which is probably one of the Country' s best kept secrets, unspoilt and wild countryside covering an area of some 267 square miles where wild red deer and Exmoor ponies roam wild and free. Close by you are able to experience Deer Safaris over Exmoor all year round including during the Rutting Season (October/November) - an experience not to miss.

We offer our guests extremely comfortable luxury AA and English Tourist Board 5* accommodation in our two thatched holiday cottages, the Grooms Lodge and the Stable Cottage.

Both cottages have one double bedroom sleeping two people, a large beamed vaulted ceiling, shaker style fitted beamed kitchens, with Neff appliances, slate floors and a fully tiled bathroom with rolled top bath and large shower in the Grooms Lodge and a fully tiled large shower room in the Stable Cottage. Each cottage has it's own private patio with garden furniture and a large garden.

There is a door linking the two cottages which can be opened to accommodate a party of four people but I am afraid we don't allow children or dogs, and the cottages are non-smoking.

Glasses Farm is a very short walk from the local pub where you can have a lovely meal, log fire in the cold months, and good beer and cheerful company. We also have a local village shop a short walking distance for all your needs, and papers can be delivered if required.

We are situated on the famous Coleridge Way for those who love walking and there are absolutely fabulous walks all over Exmoor with outstanding scenery with many famous beauty spots and old quaint villages to explore. Deer and bird watching is amazing. We are also a short distance from the beach.

Our aim at Glasses is to provide everything you need for a totally relaxed peaceful quiet holiday for those couples who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of busy normal life! Secure private garage parking is provided.

We welcome guests all year round, the cottages are centrally heated.

All our bookings are taken through English Country Cottages.
